NAA's Advocate of the Year

Nominate a Candidate

NAA’s Advocate of the Year Award is named after Malcolm N. Bennett, who said, “If you don't get involved in issues that affect you, then you have no right to complain."

You know who your best advocates are. Whatever advocacy task you ask of them, they show up.

Ask: Can you make a call? Response: “Sure.”

Ask: Can you fly to Washington for “Advocate?” Response: “I registered weeks ago.”

Ask: Did you follow up with that Member you met with last month? Answer: “Didn’t you see the follow-up email I sent the week after that meeting? I copied you on it.”

The Advocate of the Year Award recognizes that advocates like that are worth their weight in platinum. Recognize your platinum advocates this year. The nomination process for NAA’s Advocate of the Year Award is now open.

Don’t delay – The deadline for submitting nominations is August 23, 2024
